I’ve been drawn to photography for as long as I can remember. Back in my school days, I was the one carrying a film camera, taking photographs of friends and everyday moments. I still have boxes of those prints at home. Looking through them now, I’m reminded why I picked up a camera in the first place: a photograph can bring back how a moment felt.
That feeling still guides my work today. I believe the best wedding photographs begin with a connection. Getting to know you as a couple helps me understand what matters to you, how you are together and the people who make your day yours. It also means you can feel comfortable being yourselves in front of my camera.
On the day, I’m looking for more than the big moments. I notice the anticipation before a ceremony, a glance across the room, the laughter between friends and the quiet exchanges with family. Years later, I want those photographs to take you back: to the people, the atmosphere and everything you felt as the day unfolded.
I care deeply about light, composition and detail, but the camera is only a tool. The art is in seeing what matters, connecting with the people in front of me and knowing when to let a moment unfold.
